Merry merry Christmas!

While you folks have been drinking eggnog and singing X-mas carols -and-whatever. I have been busy, I went with norski to visit a friend of his(Unni). There we were making a norski-cake, I belive it's called "Kransekake" or-somethin'-like-that. First I thought it was up there with "lefse n' Lutefisk" (you Norwegian-americans will probably know what I mean..), but it actually turned up quite nice. BTW we are not quite finished yet. So your fav piglet will be back with more pics, but this is what I'll be showing you for the moment:

As usual we traveled by way of public transport. Being a piglet n' all, I'm not so much into that stuff, but norski is turning into a tree-hugger or somethin', so thats way we choose the transport of the poor...     On the above pic yours truly has arrived at Unni's, and are warming up with some tee (no bisquits unfortunately!) Note to myself: Be more demanding.

Here I'm working me ..piglet tail off.  It was a bit too hot, so I got somethin' to drink from the locals. Next time, norski said, I should just take my pullover off.  Me; I think I got a taste for the old Jägermasta.
Also on the photo: Those weird cakes.

Pasta-photo:  Happily cleaning out the bowl of oven baked pasta-bolognese. Nobody said I should stop dishing in, so I just kept on.

Luckily I never quite fill up, always leaving a small corner for the nicer things in life.  This time it was filled with marzipan. Not the worst deal.
Prost!

Winter is here!

Hi

Today I did a walk in the lightly forrested area  at Karlsplatz. There was a Christmas-marked going on, and I saw two sorry boggers. I belive they are called Mangalitsa-piglets (ferkels) and they are from a rare hungarian breed. I tried of course to tease them a bit, but they were kind of living in their own little sphere of tranquility.

I, of course, had not so much time to spare for such hicks from the Puszta, so I pushed on to a new mall buildt on top of Wien Mitte. Here is a shot from yours truly in the park (Stadtpark)

A bit cold today, with -1 degree C, and a fresh breeze to top that.

Merry X-mas.
