Couture de le Cochonnet (piglet fashion)

Dear Bloggers

Yesterday I got a new jacket. It's yellow and made out of some extra cloth we had lying in a closet. I think norski used it for dressing up at a Halloween-party a couple of years ago.
Anyway; since I don't have a standard body shape, being a piglet an' all, the jacket had to be custom tailored expecially for yours truly!  First I thought it was finished, but now I'm thinking of making a hole at the back for my curly pig tail.   Redhead came up with the idea for a really big button.  So what do you think?  Like it? -or should I go for a more Versace-style?

Breaking news!
I was enjoying me afternoon nap today when the folks came home way to early and woke me up. Then I was rudely confronted with the news, that I from now on had a new sister.  I still don't know her name, but she's a ginger (with a capital G)  More info will follow, so stay tuned.

Time for a walkabout'

Verli and dr Anja gave me a transport bag, so now I am travelling around in style. And I got this chap to carry me around. I'm feeling like one of those british Rajs now :-)
For those who are uninformed; this is a special bangladeshi bag for carrying around small piglets from Mühlviertel.
Mush mush! (as they say to the sledge dogs)

Goin' alpine !

Dear Blog

Just a short update. Spent the very last week of the year in a small village in Eastern Tyrolia, I belive the hamlet was named "Kals" - or somethin'.

Pic. 1 : Downtown Kals, Osttirol.

Picture one shows the view from my penthouse (or penthaus as they say here in Austria) early in the morning. I didn't even take the photo myself as I was sleeping at that time, naturally. I guess norski took it whilst filling up the bathtube for me morning bath.

Pic. 2

Photo nr 2 shows a small valley some 8 km from Kals.  Redhead almost broke her knee, so we had to take a day off from serious alpine skiing. So instead we went snowshoe-walking.  That was cool.  Even more cool was that , due to the weather conditions, we saw 3 minor snow-avalanches. There was not so much snow, but the hills were steep, and the sound of thunder going on and on was really something.  Unfortunately I did not take any photos at that time.  I was to much ingulfed in the experience.

Pic.3

The last photo is the montains marking the watershed between Kals and Matrei in Osttirol.  I liked the light.  Hmmm.. I might start to take photography more serious...

BTW: there was no winner for my X-mas-present-competition. No contribution was found worthy enough by the present-committee.  But as my very own birthday is in only 6 months; you can participate in the next round ;-)

See ya!
